Pixleview PlayTV@P7000 เพียงการ์ดเดียว จะทำให้เครื่องพีซีตัวเก่าของท่าน กลายเป็น " Full Function Personal Video Recoder" โดยให้ท่าน สามารถรับชมรายการทีวี วิทยุ ด้วยคุณภาพคมชัด และยังสามารถบันทึกรายการต่างๆ เก็บไว้ในรูปแบบของไฟล์ mpeg-2 ที่ให้คุณภาพ ที่คมชัดมากกว่า Video ด้วยวงจร Hardware Real Time MPEG-2 ที่บรรจุอยู่ภายในการ์ด Pixelview PlayTV@P7000 พร้อมหน่วยความจำ 8MB. สำหรับ ประมวลผลภาพทีวี และวีดีโอ ที่นำมาต่อ ทำให้ไม่ต้องไปโหลดการทำงานของเครื่อง PC และยังรองรับ การทำงานแบบ Time Shift ซึ่งก็คือ ขณะที่ท่าน อาจจะไปรับโทรศัพท์ หรือไปทำงานอะไร แล้ว ท่านสามารถกด pause รายการดังกล่าว จะถูกบันทึกเป็น Temporary ไฟล์ ใน harddisk ขณะที่ท่านกลับมา ท่านสามารถรับชมรายการต่อได้ทันที ถึงแม้รายการตรงส่วนนั้นๆ จะผ่านไปแล้ว ทำให้อรรถรส ในการดูทีวีของท่าน ไม่ขาดตอน

นอกจาก Pixelview PlayTV@P7000 จะมีคุณสมบัติที่ดี ทางด้านการรับชมรายการทีวี วิทยุ และสามารถบันทึกลง harddisk ได้แล้ว ยังมี Remote control ที่สามารถโปรแกรมได้ หรือ เปลี่ยนแปลงปุ่มควบคุมต่างๆ ตามการใช้งานซอฟแวร์ ซึ่งจะทำให้เครื่องพีซีตัวเก่ง กลายเป็น entertainment center สามารถควบคุมการ ดูหนังจากแผ่น VCD, DVD ควบคุมการรับฟังเพลงต่าง mp3 ต่างๆ เป็นต้น
